Mesa jump-starts pool safety campaign
Mesa, Arizona - Mesa, Arizona firefighters took to the streets to talk to the community about swimming pool dangers, launching a three-pronged campaign. Five children have drowned in Mesa this year, the highest number in the city's history. Child drownings in the Metro Phoenix area, of which Mesa borders, are among the highest in the nation over the years.
